| Survivor-Roughneck Explosion Proof Computer
The new edition to our toughest family of flat panel computers, the Survivor-Ruffneck. The sunlight-readable computer is explosion proof and ruggedized for use in virtually any environment. Along with an elaborate thermal management system, it sports a NEMA 4 environmentally sealed milled aluminum enclosure with corrosion resistance. Based on a single board computer with an Intel® Pentium® M 1.6 GHz processor, the unit can be configured with up to 2 GB DDRAM. The Survivor-Ruffneck offers three (3) network options including wireless Ethernet through PCMCIA expansion, and features Watchdog timer and software dimming.
To provide sunlight readability with minimal temperature rise, the 15" AMTFT LCD utilizes Computer Dynamics’ passive enhancements. Viewing enhancement filters are included to reduce sunlight loading. For reliable operation, an impact-resistant near field imaging (NFI) touchscreen with anti-glare and scratch resistant screen is standard.
Front panel indicators provide status LED for power and heating system status.
