The
Survivor-WildCat sunlight-readable computer is HAZLOC approved and
ruggedized for use in virtually any environment. Along with an elaborate
thermal management system, it sports a NEMA 4 environmentally sealed
aluminum fabricated enclosure with corrosion resistance. Based on our SBC-PIII
single board computer with an Intel Pentium III 1 GHz processor, 512M SDRAM
with three (3) network options including wireless Ethernet through PCMCIA
expansion, Watchdog timer, automatic dimming and IRDA, this system is truly
unparalleled in the industry.
To
provide sunlight readability with minimal temperature rise, the 15" AMTFT
LCD utilizes Computer Dynamics’ backlighting system. Viewing enhancement
filters are included to reduce sunlight loading. For reliable operation, an
impact-resistant near field imaging (NFI) touchscreen with anti-glare and
scratch resistant screen is standard.
Front
panel indicators provide status LEDs for thermal management heaters, hard
drive activity, network, and two (2) user-defined indicators. |
